Apply the glue of your preference to the tip and the free edge of the nail. Place the tip on the nail, and apply uniform pressure until it solidifies. Cut the tip to the desired length, fold and apply the extra nail product. Adapt the tip to the customer's footprint to accurately apply the nail. Use a sharp blade when cutting the tip to reduce the chance of tearing. Do not apply a thinner or acid-based primer to a dirty tip.
